We sit between you and the wrong solution.

Most business owners in distress do not need another sales pitch. They need a real person who will tell them the truth about their options.

When a merchant cash advance starts pulling 20% of your daily revenue and a collections call is waking you up at 7 a.m., the next call you make matters. Too many firms in this industry benefit from you picking the wrong product. A bankruptcy attorney will recommend bankruptcy. A settlement shop will recommend settlement. A lender will refinance you into a deeper hole.

Hamilton & Merchant is the call you make before any of those. We assess your full financial picture in a free consultation, tell you what your real options are, and only then connect you with the right specialist for your specific situation.

We are not attorneys. We are not a law firm. We are advisors whose only job is to point you in the right direction.

How we help

Merchant Cash Advance Relief

MCAs are the fastest way a healthy business becomes a distressed one. We help merchants renegotiate, consolidate, or legally restructure daily or weekly payments that have become unsustainable.

Learn more

Debt Consolidation

Multiple advances, multiple lenders, multiple due dates — and no single view of what you actually owe. We build that view and explore whether consolidation makes sense for you.

Learn more

Corporate Turnaround

When the problem is larger than cash flow — operations, management, or structural costs — we coordinate turnaround specialists who rebuild the business from the inside.

Learn more

Cost Reduction Services

Most businesses are overpaying for insurance, processing fees, telecom, and vendor contracts. A cost audit often finds the first real cash flow relief before debt work even begins.

Business Consulting

Sometimes the fix is strategic rather than financial — a pricing change, a margin review, a product mix adjustment. We connect you with consultants who know your industry.

Your industry?

If your business owes money and cannot see a path out, we will still take the call. If we are not the right fit, we will say so.

Ask us

What one conversation actually looks like

We keep the first call simple. It is not an intake interview, a sales pitch, or a credit check. It is a conversation about what is actually happening in your business.

1. You tell us what you owe.

Every MCA, loan, credit line, tax bill, and vendor debt — in plain language. No spreadsheets required. If you only know rough numbers, that is fine for now.

2. We tell you what we see.

We lay out the real options — settlement, consolidation, turnaround, bankruptcy, or simple renegotiation — and tell you which ones we think fit and which ones do not.

3. You decide what happens next.

If you want us to connect you with a specialist, we do. If you want to think about it, you think about it. No pressure, no pushy follow-up, no upfront fees.

Reviewing debt relief options

Why merchants call us first

Because nobody else in the room works for you. The lender works for the lender. The settlement shop earns on settlement. The attorney bills for bankruptcy. The consolidator earns on the consolidation loan.

We earn when you end up in the right solution — even when that solution is not ours to sell. Our referral partners respect that, because it means the clients we send them are already in the right fit.

That independence is the single most important thing about Hamilton & Merchant. It is also why the first call is free and the tone of it is different.

More about how we work

Common questions

Are you a law firm?

No. Hamilton & Merchant is a debt relief consulting and referral firm. If your situation calls for legal work — bankruptcy, litigation, or negotiating specific legal claims — we connect you with licensed attorneys.

Is the consultation really free?

Yes. We do not charge for the first conversation, and we do not charge upfront fees. Any engagement after that is clearly explained in writing before anything moves forward.

Will you pressure me into bankruptcy?

No. Bankruptcy is sometimes the right answer. Often it is not. We will tell you honestly which side of that line your situation falls on, and explain why.

What if I have already signed with another firm?

Call us anyway. We will tell you whether the agreement you signed looks reasonable, aggressive, or predatory. If it is working, stay with them. If it is not, we can help you think through next steps.

Do I need to be in Florida?

We are Florida-based and work primarily with U.S. businesses. Most of our work happens by phone, text, and email. Location is rarely a barrier.

What happens if I just want information?

Start with our Get Information section — plain-English explanations of your rights, timing, bankruptcy alternatives, and how to vet a debt relief firm before you sign with one.

One conversation can change everything.

The first call is free, confidential, and without obligation. We will listen, assess your situation, and lay out your real options — not a sales pitch.
